Jan Björk is a photographer with deep personal and photographic roots in Ostrobothnia, Finland.

He is born and raised in the village of Såka just outside Karleby in Finland.

Jan has taken pictures since childhood. His favorite subjects are from the region, as he is inspired by the nature of Ostrobothnia: “It is easy to be blind and not appreciate the beauty near the home. A nature that we must protect and preserve for future generations.”

Jan wants to document his region truthfully, without subtracting or adding anything to the picture by manipulating the photo.

He also often visit the Hyrynsalmi region in the eastern part of Finland. He calls the place for "Winterlandia".
